Just an ordinary girl with a love of all things stationery!

A tour of my Filofax Springboard…

on November 3, 2013

So after the drama of buying this Filofax, I feel I should share with you all how she looks now she is set up!

Warning – this post is very photo-heavy!

This what she looks like from the outside. Lovely, no? My favourite colours are green and turquoise, but I do love the fuchsia.

This is what she looks like when opened:

I bought the highlighter strips from Paperchase. This is the Pocket size, cut to fit into the Personal – but I love the purple post-its, and the Personal size equivalent has some horribly huge yellow ones.

Inside the pocket on the left I’m holding a piece of paper with a restaurant voucher code on it and a letter I need to post (that reminds me actually!)

I got the purple zig-zag paper from another organiser – I also got my dividers from there too, which I will show you later.

As she is a Springboard, she comes with some information pages regarding the Springboard charity. £1.50 from the purchase of this Filofax is donated to the charity, which is quite good. I think more could be donated personally, but that’s another topic for another day!

The information pages detail ways of helping children learn to read and write in a way that is fun – and as I work in a preschool and hope to be a primary school teacher one day, I found this to be very useful!

These are my dividers. I got them from an organiser I bought from Paperchase, in the “Foxtrot” range. They’re just so cute! The other organiser also doubles up as a spare insert holder.

I made some inserts for a “to do” section and a “photo” section:

I love stickers!

My custom-made pen holder (I’ll show you how to do it in another post).

The back pocket. I’ve slipped a map of Zurich in there for my Swiss holiday next year.

So there you have it! Isn’t she a beaut?

!!! It’s so beautiful 🙂 It really really makes me want a filofax. Even though I have a beautiful diary which I love, and know that the filofax set up is probably not for me. I just want one because they are so lovely.

  2. I can’t remember how I found your blog, but I’m very glad I did 🙂 I also love Filofax and Paperchase. I haven’t yet written about my ‘fax, but I plan to. I use it as my wallet and pencil case as well as my general “brain dump” area! Please tell us more about any stickers you get.

You might want to take a look at philofaxy and mylifeallinoneplace blogs as they have Free filofax insert templates. You can modify them to your own tastes if you like as well 🙂

  3. I’ve just had a genius idea!!! Nail art stickers – small, cute, and cheap!!!!
